Introduction

James Armstrong is the Founder and MD of SJ Residential Ltd, a company which he formed in 2005 having commenced his property career some twenty years prior with Hamptons in SW London.

He switched to residential development consultancy in 1997 with a move in to central London where he joined de Groot Collis, a niche general practice. He subsequently undertook several roles including development consultancy, land sales, acquisitions and new homes.

At the turn of the Millenium, he joined King Sturge along with a number of his colleagues to assist in creating a residential development agency department for the company, his role to sell and acquire land for residential development in Greater London.

James moved from London to West Sussex in 2003. He presently divides his time between his London office and his more recently established country office which is located on the Surrey / West Sussex border.
